Despite facing some sexist comments from a higher-up, the undeniable chemistry between Ji-Hyeok and Ji-Won shines through. As they leave the hotel, Ji-Hyuk insists on dropping Ji-Won off at home. Along the way, they have a conversation about distinguishing between good and bad people. Ji-Won ignores calls from Su-min and Min-hwan, but when Eun-Ho texts her, she reveals that he was her first love.

While walking on the street, Min-hwan unexpectedly runs into a distraught Su-min. They try to enter Ji-Won's apartment, but she has changed the passcode. Instead, they decide to grab a drink together.

Ji-Hyuk and Ji-Won enjoy a coffee by the river, where Ji-Won opens up about discovering her true self. She talks about working on her meal kit idea at work and wanting to learn self-defense. She even suggests that Ji-Hyeok should try contact lenses because he looks great without glasses. Later, at a bar, Min-hwan comforts Su-min, and it seems like there may be a mutual attraction between them.

Ji-Hyuk drops Ji-Won off at her door and offers some cryptic advice about marriage before she heads inside. Back at home, Ji-Won finds that Hui-yeon has left drawings of an ideal apartment for her, encouraging her to find a new place to stay. Despite receiving several calls, Ji-Won refuses to talk to Su-min and asks Min-hwan to bring her home.

Ji-Won Office Entry In New Look:

The next day at work, everyone is completely shocked by Ji-won's stunning new look. Even Ji-hyuk is taken aback when he sees her. He has actually followed Ji-won's advice and started wearing contact lenses himself. Later on, Min-hwan reveals to Ji-won that Ji-hyeok has developed an interest in her. Apparently, he even tried to kiss her, but Ji-won cleverly spills her coffee on him to avoid the situation. Su-min, on the other hand, tries to make amends with Ji-won, who pretends to be oblivious to the truth. Instead, Ji-won decides to stand up for Su-min against the bullies. She even mentions that she's meeting Eun-ho to uncover the truth.

 Ji-Hyeok Reaction:

In the elevator, Ji-hyeok overhears people praising Ji-won and takes her aside to ask if she dressed up for someone else. However, Ji-won firmly states that she did it for herself and even suggests that Ji-hyeok update his own style. 

Ji-hyeok and Hui-yeon Together:

After work, Ji-won spots Ji-hyeok and Hui-yeon leaving a shop together. Their casual demeanor around each other reminds Ji-won of a future scandal involving them, which led to Hui-yeon being transferred. It becomes evident that Ji-hyuk and Hui-yeon share a close bond as they hang out with Ji-hyuk's grandfather without any discomfort.

Self Defence Training By Ji-HYeok:

Despite the late hour, Ji-hyuk calls his friend to practice self-defense skills, all for the purpose of teaching Ji-won. At home, it is revealed that Ji-hyuk has a blue heart tattoo on his chest, identical to the one mentioned in the note Ji-won received from her father. He confides in his cat, disclosing that he is also living his second life and knows the path Ji-won's life is headed towards. 

Flashback:

The scene then shifts to Ji-hyuk's previous life in 2023, where he attends Ji-won's funeral. He witnesses Min-hwan and Su-min being arrested for her murder and learns about their affair. It is during this time that he overhears Ji-won's classmates, including Eun-ho, discussing a reunion and Su-min's lies.
