The highly anticipated Marry My Husband episode 7 was broadcasted on tvN and Prime Video on Monday, January 22, 2024.
The MARRY MY HUSBAND episode 7
picks up where the 6th episode left off. Ji-won and Ji-hyuk finally find out
the truth about themselves.
In Marry my Husband episode 7 Ji-won tells Ji-hyuk what she has learned about her new life and informs him of her plan to arrange Min-hwan's marriage to Su-min.
JI-Hyuk’s House:

They meet at Ji-hyuk's house to talk further, where Ji-won becomes friends with his cat. Ji-hyuk asks why she didn't run away from the situation, and Ji-won explains how she got the scar on her arm. So, Ji-won has to give her destiny to someone else.
FLASH BACK:
In a flashback, Ji-hyuk places
Ji-won's urn in the columbarium. As he is leaving, his car breaks down and he
gets into the back of a taxi, which is driven by Ji-won's father (or his
ghost). He talks to Ji-won about how he regrets that he and Ji-won weren't
close enough in the past.
When Ji-won's father asks what
Ji-hyuk would do if given a second chance, Ji-hyuk responds that he'd use it to
protect Ji-won.
At this point, Ji-won inquires
how Ji-hyuk ended up in 2013. Ji-hyuk lies and tells her that he passed out and
woke up one day ago.
The following day, Ji-won goes
to work and receives a phone call from her husband, who is unemployed, asking
her to pick up their daughter from school that night. She runs into Ji-hyuk's
grandfather's secretary, Lee Seok-jin. They have an eye-to-eye and it looks
like they have a history together.
Lee Suk-joon's Entry:
In episode 7 “Marry My
Husband”, Ji-hyuk’s boss Lee Suk-joon comes to the office the following day
with a high-ranking job in the company and he has been keeping tabs on Ji-woon
and Ji-hyuk. The boss warns Ji-hyuk that he shouldn’t mix his personal life and
his work life as it will not be good for him. That’s why Ji-hyuk decides to
stay away from Ji-won at work. The boss even pushes Ji-hyuk to make Ji-won’s
co-worker, Ji-yoo-ran, the leader of meal kit project rather than Ji-won.
Drunk Ji-Hyuk & First meeting of Hee-yeon and Eun-ho:
Later in the episode, Ji-hyuk
goes to Eun-ho's restaurant in the evening. Ji-hyuk gets very drunk there, and
Ji-hyuk's sister has to come and pick up Ji-hyuk from Eun-Ho's restaurant.
This is where Hee-yeon's first
meeting with Eun-ho takes place, and it's clear that the two have an instant
connection.
Treasure Hunt:
The following day, the company
members have a fun outdoor workshop. The workers have to go on a treasure hunt
to find their sleeping places in the workshop.
Ji-won tried to call Ji-hyuk, but he couldn't get a hold of him. The next day Ji-hyuk gets a call from his grandfather, who has agreed to cancel Ji-hyuk's marriage with Yu-ra.
Ji-hyuk asks to meet with Ji-won, but Ji-won says it's not possible. He then leaves, determined to make Ji-won happy. In the office, people are talking about Roijental's increasing stock price, and Ji-won blames Min-hwan for losing his stake. Ji-won says he doesn't have any money, but he'll lend it to him to make sure he doesn't sell his shares in TKU.
When Ji-won calls Su-min from her
computer, she sees that he's bought the stocks, so she buys some of her own.
They go for a picnic instead of dinner, and after Min-hwan removes a bug from
Su-min's hair, Ji-won remembers doing it for her. She suddenly gets a work
call, and leaves.
As soon as Min-hwan leaves, he tells Su-min that he will teach her how to ride a bike, but the phone call that Ji-won receives is actually Eun-ho's. He meets her at her office and gives her flowers, while Ji-hyuk stares at her with an expression of annoyance.
Ji-won goes to Ji-hyuk's office and explains about the picnic, and Ji-hyuk explains to her how Lee Seok-jin is being a hindrance. Ji-hyuk promises to do his best to help her.
Later that day Ji-hyuk goes to see Eun-ho again at the restaurant and
tells him that he is trying to figure out who Eun-ho is and if he is a player.
The following day, at work Ji-won allows Joo-run to organize another workshop. During the retreat, the other co-workers participate in a game and are allotted different accommodations.
Ji-won's Past life:
In Ji-won's past life, she got the fifth flag and snuck into a sleeping bag, while Su-min took the first one by tricking Gyeung-uk. Now that they're both at work, they overhear Hui-yeon saying that she hid the flag in a stream.
Ji-won goes to the stream to ask for the flag. As she walks, she
notices Min-chwan sitting alone and feeling down. She pretends to be hurt and
brings him to her, then flirts with him. She tells him to just be her
"trusty friend" and that he should let her do whatever she wants.
Min-hwan tells her that her father sent him over to help her and that she
should trust him, but she tells him to think about his own happiness first.
Su-min goes to the stream and asks for the flag for Min-chwan.
Ji-hyuk returns to base camp and finds out that the stream is very deep and dangerous.Ji-won was trying to get the flag by herself but she falls into the stream and starts to drown due to the depth of the water.
Ji-Hyuk rushes to Ji-Won's side and saves her. He holds Ji-Won in a passionate embrace. He is very worried about her and tells Ji-Won to ask Ji-Hyuk for help. Ji-Won starts to cry again and tells Ji-Hyuk that she doesn't want to be like Ji-Won Soo-Min and wants to do everything by herself.

At the end of the episode Ji-Hyuk looks Ji-won in the eye and says that he wants to become a solid ground for Ji-Won.

Review:
Despite the big reveal in episode 7, it's a slow episode overall. It's understandable that the two main characters have to talk about the whole thing, but the remainder of the episode seems to be dragging.
Min-hwan & Su-min are still unbearable, and there are hints that Joo-run might have a bigger part to play, but they never really go beyond that.
The dynamic between Ji-hyuk and Ji-won, talking about his importance in her life, takes their relationship to a whole new level. It's a good episode overall, but it could have been a bit more dramatic.
