Love, Lies, and Deception
Ji-won & Su-Min Fight:
Su-min obtains the number 4 flag, which is the only one in the single tent. Then, she sees Ji-won with the number 1 flag. She tries to sneak up to Ji-won, but Ji-won sees her coming and pushes her down. Ji-won leaves triumphantly, but she gets scared and comes back. Su-min, who foresaw this, steals the number 4 flag.
Ji-won Win:
At the ceremony with everyone, Ji-won reveals that she still has the number 1 flag, and a flashback shows Ji-won fighting with Su-min until she won the flag.
Back at camp Ji-won is suffering from a cold after her water-borne adventure. She is curious as to what he meant when he said "I want to be a solid land" and thinks she didn't hear him correctly. The conversation then turns to Min-hyuk.
Necklace Memory:
She remembers
the last time when she won the one tent and Su-min got the luxury camper, but
this time it's the opposite. As Ji-won is walking through the woods, she runs
into Ji-huk and tells him that it looks like she lent him the money she
borrowed so he could buy her a necklace. It turns out that he did the same
thing to her last time.
Ji-won & Su-min Conversation:
Su-min gets angry with her and later tells Ji-won that she doesn't like being around Su-min anymore because she's always on the losing side. Ji-won says that she's going to get married soon and that she wants to be more selfish because she's going to have a family soon and she can't always be there for Su-min like she used to.
Ji-won's words
are exactly what Su-min needed because she makes her last move on him and can
trap him soon after.
Of course Ji-won regrets what
she said to Su-min, but luckily Ji-Hyeok assures her that she is a good person.
Ji-won's plan is that Su-min will punish her by attacking Min-hwan.
Min-hung and Su-min kiss:
Su-min leaves the group, making sure that Min-hung can see her, and goes to her tent to try and console her. He tries to seduce her, and she lets him, and then Su-min kisses him, and Ji-won stares at them from a distance, still angry at the betrayal, even after all that had happened.
Ji-Hyeok pulls her away and consoles her.After Ji-won has calmed down, she talks about her trust in Su-min, Min-hung, and tells her to concentrate on winning. She tells him that she's glad he's here, and that she's happy to be with him.
In Morning:
Min-hwan appears in the morning and lights a cigarette, telling Ji-won that he slept well while lying on the ground, while Su-min stands off to one side and watches them.
Su-min tells Min-hung after they slept together that they shouldn't mention it to Ji-won and that it's just a good memory. Of course, this upsets Su-min.
At this point, everyone gathers for breakfast and Su-min notices Min-hwan's obvious affection for Ji-won.
At the end of the meal, everyone heads back to the house. Ji-won realizes that their plan didn't work out the way they planned. At home, Ji-won scolds Su-min for removing Ji-won's face from all their photos.
Min-hwan brags about his 'victory' at the gym to his friend, who asks if things will go well at work. Min-hwan gets assigned to go to the grocery store with Su-min for a bit.
Before leaving, Ji-won gets a card from Su-min, which is a sweet letter
asking for forgiveness. If Ji-won didn't know what would happen in the future,
she would have been swayed by the letter.
Eun-ho's Thoughts on Ji-hyeok:
Eun-ho is thinking about his encounter with Jihyuk at the restaurant where Jihyuk was rambling about his life and was in love with Ji-won. Eun-ho was surprised when Jihyuk told him that he would be better suited to Ji-won because he will still be alive after ten years.
Supermarket Scene:
At the supermarket, while working with Su-min, she keeps doing something to get his attention. Min-hwan notices her and approaches her and hands her a notebook. This catches his attention and he is surprised.
Ji-won is
giving a presentation on the meal kit project at the office. Seok-jun
congratulates Ji-won for taking the initiative to run the project. He says that
he knows Ji-won is capable of running the project.
It turns out that Su-min wrote “I want to do this” in her notebook. The two of them get intimate in a storeroom, but she refuses to do it until he tells her that they are in a real relationship.
Min-hwan tries to avoid the situation, but he gets a call. In their rush, they forgot to install an allergy sign, and now a customer is having a medical episode. The customer is rushed to the hospital, and the two of them apologize, but they don’t mean it.
After a long day at work, he gets into a fight with Ji-won over the amount of money he has lost, Ji-won tries to act like she doesn't know anything about it.
Later, he talks to Su-min about Ji-won and how this situation is making him want to marry her, otherwise he would fall in love with her. Su-min agrees to keep it quiet, but she gets a sparkle in her eye.
After a long day, he goes for a drink with Ji-won, and he tries to trick her by asking her for money. Then suddenly he proposes to her, Ji-won smiles.
Sweet walk of Ji-won & Ji-Hyeok:
Later, Ji-won and Ji-Hyeok go for a walk and Ji-won talks about how she got into debt in the past due to Min-hwan, and she also talks about the cat she fed back in college and how it just disappeared.
Then Ji-Hyeok tells her about how he jumped in front of the car to save the cat and ruptured its ligaments, which is the same cat he now has. Ji-won realizes it's the same cat and gets emotional.
At Ji-Hyeok's House:
They go to Ji-Hyeok's
house and Ji-won has a nice meeting with the cat, Ji-Hyeok gives her the
passcode to his apartment.

Ji-won went on to talk about her new plan to stop Min-hwan from marrying her. Last time, Min-hwan proposed to her on her birthday, but this time, Ji-won had to go through with it. Seok-jun's grandfather and Ji-Hyeok's grandfather talk about a new technology that will allow U&K to do aerobatics, but he's concerned that Ji-Hyeok will get distracted by her.
Ending with the Proposal:

At the end of the Marry My Husband episode 8, Min-Hwan asks for Ji-Won’s hand in marriage with a grand gesture. Multiple drones fly into the sky and form the question of marriage. Min-Hwan goes on his knees and proposes properly to Ji-Won.
Ji-Won then accepts
the ring. It is quite clear from the scene that Ji-Hyeok has organized the
grand proposal for Ji-Won’s happiness.
Review:
The pace picks up a bit in episode 8, and the plot jumps forward a bit, which is nice to see. The characters are so bad-mouthing each other, but they make for great melodramatic moments.
It's oddly satisfying to watch them do something they've done before, but in a different way. It's satisfying to see Ji-won's hard work pay off, and it's even more interesting to see that this isn't the end of the story.
Min-hwan is even more determined to marry Ji-won, which is an interesting
twist, and their engagement will definitely raise the drama even more.
The best parts of Marry My Husband are when the show is at its most emotional. The writing and character development are top-notch, and unlike other shows, it works better when it's in the middle of a drama rather than the other way around.
